Privacy Policy

Last updated August 31, 2026

The short version: ObCalc does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, personal health information, or usage data. Everything you enter into the app stays on your device. There is no account, no server, and no analytics.

Information We Collect

None. ObCalc does not collect any information about you or your patients. The app contains no analytics software development kits (SDKs), no crash-reporting services, no advertising identifiers, and makes no network requests of any kind. It functions entirely offline.

How Your Data Is Stored

Any values you enter — patient measurements, dates, lab results, or clinical parameters — are held only in the app's memory for the duration of your session and, for your app preferences (such as theme, accent color, unit preferences, and your personal library of saved calculators), in local device storage (UserDefaults) that never leaves your device. Nothing is uploaded to a server because ObCalc does not operate one.

No Analytics or Tracking

ObCalc contains no analytics, no advertising networks, and no tracking pixels. We have no way of knowing which calculators you use, how often you open the app, or any other usage pattern. There is nothing to opt out of, because nothing is collected in the first place.

No Third-Party Services

ObCalc does not integrate any third-party SDKs that transmit data off your device. There are no embedded web views loading remote content and no in-app purchases beyond the one-time App Store purchase handled entirely by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy.

No Account Required

ObCalc does not require — or offer — account creation, sign-in, or cloud sync. There is no login, no password, and no identity of any kind associated with your use of the app.

Children's Privacy

ObCalc is a professional clinical reference tool intended for licensed healthcare professionals and is not directed at children. In any case, the app does not collect personal information from anyone, of any age.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that involves data collection — this page will be updated first, with a revised "Last updated" date above, before that feature ships.
